A Poem – Week Thirty-Two

This poem is undated and untitled.

Love doesn’t seem like

It is a strong enough word

If this is love that I feel now

Then I never felt it before

You make me feel all the clichés

That have been said

And things never mentioned

I’m always in fear of losing you

It is a constant thought

A recurring nightmare

That I wake up crying

Reaching my arms out for you

You’re my only love

As my world spins out of control

My first, my last, my everything

You’re the only one who loves me.
