A Poem – Week Forty-Two

This poem, written on August 2, 1996, is about that imaginary person again. I’m not sure why he got so much space in my notebook.

New Love

Thinking about you

Each and every day

Wondering can I get with you

Is there any way?

Love is love

And love is you

Shining like the sun

You made grey skies turn blue

I hate being around people

That don’t understand me

But I know you will

Can’t you see

It should be you and me?

How can I be down?

If we get together

I’ll always be around

What I said is true

I will love only you

Do you feel the same way too?
