A Poem # 20

Back when I was a teenager, I remember my peers pressuring me to date / have a boyfriend. Luckily, I have always been a stubborn little goat and didn’t let anyone tell what I should do.

Love Can Wait

It seems to me

That love can wait

I’m not in a rush

To find my love fate

Everything I see

Everywhere I go

Things about love

I don’t know

One day I’ll find out

I’ll take my time

And maybe someday

Love will be mine

It may be the finest thing

But love can wait

When will it happen

I have no date.
