Writing

A Poem # 24

This poem was written on April 12, 1996. One of the many things I have realized since then is that there is no such thing as a “perfect world.”

Diggin’

Look deeper inside your soul

The harder you look

The more you see it can hold

Just keep diggin’

Seeing how far you can go

Keep on diggin’

And it will show

Everything you can do

Will seem so clear

You’ll know where to go

And with who

Everything you want to know

It will show

Diggin

To see what you can see

Diggin

To see what you can be

Looking everywhere

Diggin but finding no cares

Diggin to find the perfect world

That would mean a lot to this girl.
