A Poem # 26

This poem was written on February 7, 1996.

Lone Spirit

I feel better

When I am away from the crowd

All they do is laugh

And talk real loud

I’d rather just sit here by myself

Because I learned

Not to depend on anyone else

I just like to chill

And I don’t need a will

Or a way

I just am a lone-spirit everyday

People like to player-hate on me

Just because they can’t see

All that I can see

I can see further

Than the natural way things be

I’m just a lone spirit everyday

No matter the will

No matter the way.
