Here’s a short poem from 1996 about the end of a relationship.
Leaving
Now that you’re leaving
I can’t stop this heart of mine
From grieving
Now that you are leaving
I wonder is it anyway to change your mind
Now that you are leaving
I will miss you all the time
I cherished all the times we shared
Now that you are leaving
I wonder if you ever really cared
I wonder where you will be
Now that you are leaving
It will be only me
Now that you are leaving
I have already begun grieving.
