This is one of those poems that still resonates with me. I wrote this poem about how I wish life would slow down back in 1994. Also, below the poem are details about the fundraiser for my cat. We’re only at 3% of the goal so far. I wouldn’t ask for help for myself, but I am asking on Grace’s behalf, so that she doesn’t have to suffer anymore. Please donate if you can and share with all the animal lovers in your life.
Slow Down
Sometimes life goes too fast for me
I just wish it would slow down
Give me some time to think
Some time to rest my overworked brain
And try to stop the pain
In my head
I don’t wish I was I was dead
But it’s just that I want life to slow down
Give me time to play
Not just to work
Gee that really irks
Me deep inside my head
I’m just fed
Up with life going too fast
I just wish life would slow down.

Finally, below is the fundraiser link for my kitty, Gracie. The minimum donation is $5. If you can’t donate, I would greatly appreciate if you would share it with all the cat lovers that you know.
